The town is kind of settlement, usually greater than the village inhabited by humans. Urban population, as opposed to agriculture, usually dealing with industry, commerce and others, rather than by agriculture, livestock and close to their activities. The population does not e the most important indicator of whether the locality is a city or village.In many parts of the world such as India (at least to 2004), a large village can be inhabited by several times more people than a small town.
